Requesting HD Video From a Niō

Step 1

Install an SD Card

To request HD video from a Niō unit, you need to have an SD card installed. This feature becomes available as soon as you install the SD card. That means you will see an error if you attempt to request video for a previous day or time (when SD card wasn’t there).

Step 2

Open Recap Video and Select a Timeframe

The “Request HD” button is visible on Daily recap videos only. Open daily recap video and play the video to the moment you want an HD video from, or tap “request HD” and use the time picker to specify the start time you want. Pick the duration - 5 or 15 mins. Select ‘Request video’. After that the process of pulling video from SD card starts.

Step 3

Locate the HD Video in Your Recordings List

To access the video, go back to the list of recordings, and pull down to refresh the list.

In filters, choose “jump to” and pick the desired date. Scroll down to find videos from 10am in the morning You will find the HD video dated with the date and time you selected. If the icon is red, this video is still being generated. A grey icon means the video is ready.
