An administrator at a security agency can now create a role within a specific Sector, known as a ‘Sector Manager’. Only the Security Agency administrator or security agency manager can create a sector manager.
IMPORTANT Sector managers will be able to view all of the cameras at all of the companies set up under their sector. This role is meant for users that need to view cameras set up at multiple sites.
STEP 1
Add a new user profile
Select the Users tab on the iDter app. Make sure ‘your company’ is highlighted. Tap the “Add User” button.
STEP 2
Fill out the new user information and select role
You will be prompted to add the new user’s name, email, and phone number (optional). This email address will be used for their iDter Account, and an invitation to set up the account will be sent by email to this address. Please make sure you enter the email correctly.
STEP 3
Assign the new user to the correct sector
Tap the ‘Sector’ option to select the appropriate sector for your new user. On the next window tap the sector you would like to assign the user to. You will see a blue checkmark indicating the sector selection. After choosing the sector, tap ‘Add User’ to finish setting up the new user.
STEP 4
Select done and check for email
Select Done to add the user to this sector and send them an iDter welcome email. The new user will now appear in the list of users under your company. If you need to, you can edit their information (name, phone number, or role), reset their password, or remove them.
