iDter Camera Snooze SMS Program

iDter offers a two-way SMS service that lets authorized operators of iDter security providers temporarily snooze camera deterrence alerts for their company.

How you opt in:

This service is available only to authorized operators of iDter security providers; it is not offered to the general public. iDter provides the program phone number and usage instructions to operators during service onboarding. You opt in by texting your 6-digit company PIN to the program number; every message we send is a direct reply to your request - a confirmation prompt and a status update. We never send marketing or promotional messages.

How operators are enrolled - consent process
Operators are enrolled in the SMS program through a documented verbal consent process during service onboarding. The iDter support agent will inform the operator of the following:

"As part of your iDter service, we offer an optional SMS feature: you can temporarily snooze your company's camera deterrence alerts by texting your 6-digit company PIN to +1 (857) 887-3404. Message frequency varies based on your usage, typically 1–2 messages per request. Message and data rates may apply. You can text STOP at any time to opt out, and HELP for help. This feature is optional — all camera controls remain available in the iDter dashboard without SMS, and your phone number will never be shared with third parties for marketing purposes. Would you like to enroll?"

Only after the operator verbally agrees is the program number provided. If the operator agrees, the iDter representative asks for the mobile phone number the operator will use for the service and records it, together with the operator’s name, company, and date of consent, in iDter’s onboarding records — this information can be produced on request.

To use the service:

Text your 6-digit company PIN to +1 (857) 887-3404. Sending a message to this number constitutes your consent to receive reply messages; consent is not required as a condition of your service — all camera management features remain available in the iDter dashboard without SMS. There is no online form: we never collect phone numbers on a website; the only way to opt in is to send the first message yourself. You can opt out at any time by replying STOP.

Sample messages:

"iDter: Snooze ALL cameras for your company on 'yourlocation' for 30 min? Reply YES to confirm or NO to cancel."

"iDter: Done — snoozed all cameras for 30 min."

Message frequency varies based on your usage (typically 1–2 messages per request). Message and data rates may apply.

Reply HELP for help. Reply STOP to opt out at any time — after STOP you will receive no further messages unless you text the number again.
