Will the iDter app run on my Android device?

The iDter app should work on any Android device running 8.0 (Oreo) or greater. 

How do I check what Android software version my mobile device is running?

Follow these instructions (provided by Google):

1. Open your phone's Settings app.
2. Near the bottom, tap System > Advanced > System update.
3. See your "Android version" and "Security patch level."

How do I update my Android device?

If Your Device Is Below Android 8 or not up to date to the latest version, please use the following instructions to update (provided by Google). If your device Is below Android 8 and says “Up to Date”, then your device is not supported.

To check if an update is available:

1. Open your device's Settings app.
2. Tap Security
3. Check for an update:

• To check if a security update is available, tap Security update.
• To check if a Google Play system update is available, tap Google Play system update.
