STEP 1
Connect to Wi-Fi
From your home screen, tap the settings (gear) icon, then select Wi-Fi. Make sure Wi-Fi is toggled on, and tap the name of the network you want to connect to. Enter the network password. When it connects, you’ll see a blue check next to the network name.
STEP 2A
Set Up Your Mail Client
iPhone/iPad: To prepare to install the iDter app on your Apple device, make sure that Apple Mail is set up, and you are logged in with the email address you intend to use with iDter.
Android: Your device may come with a ‘Mail’ app, like Gmail, Outlook, Samsung Mail, Blue Mail, etc. If so, in your Mail app, make sure you add the email address you will be using to create your iDter login. If your Android device does not already have a ‘Mail’ app, please install one. Most email providers offer an Android app (like the Gmail app), or you can download a ‘Mail’ app that will allow you to log in with various email providers.
STEP 2B
Set Up iCloud (iPhone/iPad Only)
Make sure you’re signed in to iCloud (your online Apple account). You can create an Apple ID to log in to iCloud in the Apple App Store.
STEP 3
Install the iDter App
Download the iDter app from Google Play or the Apple App Store. If you already have it, make sure it is up to date by going to your device’s app store and searching for iDter. If it’s up to date, it will say “Open”. Otherwise, you will be prompted to update it or download it.
STEP 4
Create an iDter Account
In your Mail app, look for an iDter email with the subject “Welcome to iDter for…[Company Name]”, and follow the account setup instructions. This email will include a temporary password and a link to access the app. From here, you will be prompted to create a new password. Tap “Set New Password” to log in and view Niōs that are shared with your account. iOS users may be prompted to give iCloud access first.
